The first-ever Dublin Climate Action Week (DCAW21) is taking place from Monday 13th to Sunday 19th September 2021 and Shamrock Rovers are delighted to support the week.

The week is being organised and delivered by the partnership of South Dublin County Council, Dún Laoghaire-Rathdown, County Council Dublin City Council, Fingal County Council, Codema – Dublin’s Energy Agency and the Dublin Climate Action Regional Office (CARO).

During the week a range of online and in-person climate action events will demonstrate the ongoing efforts, ambitions, and the collaborative approach of the four local authorities in addressing climate action, showcasing Dublin’s climate action progress to its citizens.

Tackling Climate Change in South Dublin Panel Discussion, Monday 13th September @ 19.30 (online event)

Three years into our first Climate Change Action Plan how are South Dublin County Council delivering on our actions? This panel discussion will focus on the five areas that make up the plan: Energy & Buildings, Transport, Flood Resilience, Nature-Based Solutions, and Resource Management, highlighting the key achievements, progress, and stumbling blocks thus far. Circular Economy Event at Rathfarnham Castle Park, Saturday 18th September @ 11.30 – 18.00
