Shamrock Rovers belongs to the people who cherish it most: the supporters. Therefore it is incumbent on us all to provide the club with a stable foundation for its future development so that Rovers can be passed on to and enjoyed by its supporters for many generations to come.
-
Membership of Shamrock Rovers is open to each and any supporter who wishes to join. The club will operate on the democratic principle of one member, one vote.
-
Shamrock Rovers will be run on a not-for-profit basis, so that the club will never again find itself in a perilous financial situation. Any surplus funds will, as a matter of course, be reinvested in the club.
-
Structures are in place and will be improved on, where possible, to further the club’s potential with the aims of maintaining Shamrock Rovers as a dominant force in Irish football, challenging for National honours, and representing the club with honour, pride and dignity in European competition. All Shamrock Rovers teams will be encouraged to play football in a manner fitting with the club’s tradition.
-
There is complete integration of Shamrock Rovers at all levels within the club from the Junior Academy to the First Team. All have vital and specific roles that must be both promoted and facilitated. Every player, coach, staff member and volunteer will be made to feel a valued part of the Shamrock Rovers family.
-
In Tallaght, Shamrock Rovers will play as full a role as possible in the community. We will endeavour to make the club a key element of sporting and civic life in Tallaght, and the South Dublin region in general.
-
Founded in Ringsend, resident in Milltown for over six decades, Shamrock Rovers’ historical background must never be ignored nor forgotten. Along with Tallaght, these areas will be regarded as our three spiritual homes.
-
In recognition of the loss of Glenmalure Park, our beloved former home at Milltown, black became the club’s third official colour, along with our traditional green and white hoops.
-
The squad number 12 will no longer by worn by any Shamrock Rovers’ player. Instead, that number will represent the club’s supporters. Wear that number 12 with pride!
-
The club and its members pledge to take a caring and positive role in promoting the needs of Shamrock Rovers and its supporters, to reinforce our identity and heritage, and to increase and develop our fan base.
