We are delighted to confirm Lia O’Leary has committed her future to the Club ahead of the new season.

The hugely talented winger heads into her second season with the Hoops having made 25 appearances across all competitions in 2023, scoring 6 times. The U19 International was named the Club’s Players’ Young Player of the Year, Supporters’ Young Player of the Year and the SSE Airtricity Young Player of the Year in recognition of her standout performances throughout her debut season in Tallaght. 

Speaking after penning a new deal, Lia said: ”I’m delighted to be re-signing for Shamrock Rovers. I really enjoyed my first season and there’s a great atmosphere within the club. Last year the girls and staff really helped me push on and get the best out of myself and we’re looking to push on again collectively this year to build on last season.”

Head Coach Collie O’Neill said: ”I am delighted Lia has committed her future to the club. She is undoubtedly one of the best young talents around. Her attacking flair, agility, and goal-scoring instincts cause sleepless nights for defenders.”
