Shamrock Rovers Football Club is looking to hire a Part-Time Head of Girls Academy to oversee the development and management of the Girls Academy in line with the club’s vision and FAI licensing requirements. This is a leadership role that requires strong organisational, coaching, and administrative skills. The successful candidate will manage a team of coaches, handle player registrations, coordinate fixtures and tournaments, and drive recruitment strategies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the Girls Academy in accordance with FAI and Shamrock Rovers guidelines.
- Manage a team of coaches and staff.
- Coordinate fixtures, tournaments, and player registrations.
- Develop the Academy in alignment with the club’s overall player development strategy.
- Report on player progress and assist with recruitment.
Qualifications & Skills:
- UEFA A Licence and FAI Safeguarding 1 Certificate.
- Experience in girls’ football, particularly in Ireland.
- Strong organisational and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage relationships with players, parents, and staff.
Desirable:
- Previous academy experience.
- Knowledge of FAI and National League rules.
- Full driving license.
