Biography

Danny played with Leinster Senior League side Bangor Celtic before joining Bohemians’ Under 19 squad in July 2017. He first turned out for their senior team in a pre-season friendly against Drogheda United in January 2018.

Danny left Bohemians in December 2020, having accumulated 60 appearances and 17 goals for the Gypsies.

The Lucan native represented Ireland at Under-21 level, was selected for the PFAI Team of the Year and won the Young Player of the Year award that season.

Danny’s impressive form led to interest from Championship club Huddersfield Town, who signed him for the 2021/22 campaign.

However, his tenure at Kirklees Stadium was significantly impacted by injuries, and he didn’t manage to break into the first team during his two-and-a-half years with the Terriers.

In September 2022, Danny was loaned out to League Two side Harrogate Town, making 28 league appearances with them.

He rejoined Bohs midway through the 2023 season and played in their FAI Cup final defeat to St Patrick’s Athletic. The winger scored 5 goals in 41 appearances in his second stint at Dalymount Park.
