Volunteer Coach Opportunity – Shamrock Rovers Girls’ Academy

Shamrock Rovers FC seeks dedicated volunteer coaches for our Girls’ Academy & Emerging Talent Programme (U10s to U16s).

The Opportunity

We’re looking for self-motivated, committed coaches who can make a real impact on young female player development. This role involves:

  • Providing high-quality coaching aligned with Shamrock Rovers Academy philosophy
  • Educating players in line with Academy values and methodology
  • Weekend and evening commitments in a positive football environment
  • Being part of an ambitious, growing programme

What You’ll Need

Essential:

  • UEFA C License qualification
  • FAI Safeguarding 1 Certificate & Garda Vetting
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Flexible attitude to work
  • Ability to plan, deliver and monitor effective coaching sessions
  • Passion for youth development in football

Desirable:

  • Previous Club/Academy coaching experience
  • Basic First Aid Qualification
  • Full driving license
  • Grassroots Qualification
