Biography

A player who needs no introduction to supporters of Women’s Football in Ireland. Stephanie began her career with Cabinteely before progressing to Stella Maris where she was a teammate of Áine O’Gorman at U18 level.

After 5 years with the Dublin side, Stephanie then made the move to Dundalk City where she scored twice on her debut in a 5-2 victory over Benfica of Waterford. After leaving Dundalk she returned to Dublin to sign for Raheny United. During her time at the Dublin 5 outfit, she gained a trial with Doncaster Rovers Belles. After a move failed to materialise, she joined Peamount United for the inaugural Women’s National League season. Her devastating form saw her win the Golden Boot Award in her first season with 26 goals and also winning the league championship.

After spells abroad in France, United States, England and Italy, Stephanie again signed for Peamount in 2020 where she won a league and cup double, scoring in the cup final and was also awarded the Player of the Match. Capped 58 times by Ireland she made her debut in a 2009 Euro Qualifying play-off defeat away to Iceland in October 2008. Her first of 14 international goals came in 2009 against Kazakhstan in a 2011 World Cup Qualifier at Turners Cross.
